For those fans, that don't know yet, the tournament will begin on Mar. 10th and the championship is on Mar. 13, sunday. I must admit too, that this is the best conference b-ball tournament. I know the SEC is down a bit in basketball over the past few years, but the tournament always brings out the best in the players it seems. So, eventhough you're team may not be ranked in the Top 25, don't miss the tournament because you are bound to see some great matchups with exciting finishes. It happens every year.

I love watching SEC basketball, especially the SEC tournament at the end of the basketball season. It is great to catch some college b-ball action on your TV, but most fans do not know how to watch sporting events on their computer. So, I created this blog to show people how to watch the SEC tournament online.

The SEC tournament games will start Thursday, March 11 around 1pm CST, so many people will not have the opportunity to watch the tournament games on their TV because they will be working at this time. The good news is that you now have the option to watch the tournament on your computer.

To watch the SEC Tournament Online you will need two things:

1. A broadband Internet connection (DSL, Cable, etc.)
2. A software program that allows you to watch TV online

There have been many SEC tournament games that I have missed in recent years because I was at the office, and there was no TV available to catch the games on. Trust me. I know how it feels to miss the action that the SEC tournament provides every year.

The software I use to watch games online is Satellite Direct. I'll use it to watch the SEC tournament online this year, as I have in the past.

A great benefit of Satellite Direct, is that you can watch shows, movies, and sports found on over 3,500 channels. It is a great "time-filler" when work is on the slow side. Another benefit of this software is that there are no monthly fees like satellite TV or cable. You could actually cancel your current cable subscription if you wanted too.

So, if you are going to be at the office or somewhere else where it may not be convenient for you to access a TV, you may want to check out Satellite TV for PC to ensure you don't miss any spectacular plays at this years' SEC Tournament.

Hope this tip helps you!

p.s. I don't know how long Satellite Direct will be available, as there may be a limited number of spots.
